When You connect Your Google account, Traction uses OAuth 2.0 to request only the minimum permissions necessary to deliver the features You have enabled. You may revoke these permissions at any time. Traction may access the following data from Google APIs solely to provide You with relationship tracking features within the Service:
Gmail (read-only): Traction accesses Gmail in read-only mode and does not modify, delete, or alter any email content or labels. Email metadata and content — including sender, recipient, subject line, date, and message body — is accessed solely to identify and summarise relationship activity (such as conversations with your contacts). Email content is never stored in full; only derived insights relevant to the Service are retained.
Gmail (send): The ability to send emails on Your behalf, but only when You explicitly review and approve a draft within the Service. Traction will never send emails without Your direct action and explicit approval of each individual message — this approval step is required every time. No email content is stored by Traction beyond what is necessary to display the draft to You prior to sending.
Google Calendar: Calendar event metadata including event title, attendees, date, and time, used to surface relationship activity and meeting history.
Google user data accessed via these APIs is:
Used only to provide the specific features You have requested within the Service.
Never used for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the Service.
Never shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to operating the Service.
Never used to train AI models, including our own or those of third-party providers.
Retained for a maximum of 12 months from the date of collection, or until You disconnect Your Google account from Traction, whichever comes first. Derived insights (such as relationship summaries and activity signals generated from Gmail or Calendar data) are also deleted upon account disconnection or at the end of this retention period.
You may revoke Traction's access to Your Google account at any time via Your Google Account Permissions page or within the Traction app settings.
To enhance the Service, Traction utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) services from third-party providers (such as Google, Anthropic, and OpenAI). Our commitment to protecting your data extends to our use of these services:
We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes described, or to meet legal obligations. Usage Data may be kept for shorter periods unless needed for security, functionality, or legal compliance.
